π MSC Seascape Layout & Amenities
One of the first things that stood out to us aboard MSC Seascape was the ship’s design. The vessel feels modern, bright, and spacious, with plenty of beautiful public areas to explore. Throughout the week, we found ourselves constantly discovering new viewpoints, relaxing spaces, and activities.
Some of our favorite areas included:
Marina Pool
Jungle Pool
Pirates Cove Aquapark
Bridge of Sighs
Infinity Pool
Infinity Hot Tubs
Times Square
The stunning atrium
We especially enjoyed the aft areas of the ship, including the Bridge of Sighs, which offered some fantastic ocean views and a unique perspective of the ship’s wake. The Marina Pool and Jungle Pool were both great places to relax, while Pirates Cove Aquapark added plenty of family fun with waterslides and splash areas.

Overall, MSC Seascape is one of the most beautiful ships we’ve sailed on and offers plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy.
ποΈ Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024 Review
For this cruise, we stayed in Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024 on Deck 10.
One of the biggest surprises was just how quiet this cabin was. Throughout the week, we experienced very little noise from neighboring cabins or public spaces, making it one of the quieter cruise cabins we’ve stayed in.
Inside our MSC Seascape Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024, featuring a comfortable bed, couch, vanity, storage space, and private balcony during our 7-night Caribbean cruise. π’π΄
π Likes
Comfortable bed
Spacious couch
Good storage options
Functional vanity area
Multiple charging and power outlets
Quiet location
Modern cabin design
One of our wishes for this cabin was additional storage space, as we found the available storage somewhat limited during our 7-night cruise.
π€ Wishes
Small shower
Cabin temperature could have been cooler
Metal balcony railing instead of glass
Limited storage space
While the balcony offered great outdoor space, the metal railing partially blocked views when seated compared to a glass balcony.
Despite those minor issues, we were very happy with the cabin overall and would gladly stay here again.
π Free Food & Restaurants
Food is one of the most important parts of any cruise, and MSC Seascape offered a wide variety of complimentary dining options throughout the ship.
Marketplace Buffet
The Marketplace Buffet quickly became one of our favorite dining venues onboard.
Highlights included:
Fresh fruit selection π
Excellent complimentary pizza π
Rotating hot food stations
Salads and desserts
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options
We found the buffet to be one of the better cruise buffets we’ve experienced, particularly when it came to the variety and quality of the food.
Complimentary Breakfast Options
Beyond the buffet, MSC Seascape also offered complimentary breakfast at:
We would have liked to see another complimentary food venue available on the lower decks outside of the buffet and main dining rooms, especially for guests looking for a quick snack or light meal during the day.

MSC Seascape offered a busy schedule of entertainment and activities throughout the cruise, helping ensure there was always something happening onboard.
Chora Theatre Shows
The Chora Theatre productions featured:
Singing

β Final Thoughts
After spending 7 nights aboard MSC Seascape, we came away impressed by the ship’s beautiful design, enjoyable pool areas, complimentary dining options, entertainment, and welcoming atmosphere.
While there were a few areas we would improve, the positives far outweighed the negatives, and we would happily sail aboard MSC Seascape again in the future.

Our final day aboard MSC Seascape had arrived, and while it’s always a little bittersweet knowing a cruise is coming to an end, we were determined to make the most of every moment. Day 7 was a relaxing sea day filled with great food, fun activities, entertainment, and one final chance to enjoy everything this beautiful ship has to offer before returning to Galveston. βοΈ
π³ Breakfast at Butcher’s Cut
We started our morning with breakfast at Butcher’s Cut, MSC Seascape’s specialty steakhouse, which offers a complimentary breakfast service. We enjoyed fresh pastries, coffee, juice, a smoothie bowl, and steak and eggs while taking in beautiful ocean views from our table by the window.
At the Chora Theatre, we attended the disembarkation presentation where MSC explained the procedures for departure day. Guests learned about luggage collection, departure zones, walk-off options, and timing for the following morning.
One pleasant surprise was seeing the captain and senior officers participate in the presentation while also recognizing many of the hardworking crew members who help make each cruise memorable.

βοΈ Pool Olympics, Snow Party & Sea Day Activities
The afternoon was packed with activities around the Marina Pool on Deck 18.
The MSC Pool Olympics brought plenty of laughs as guests competed in fun challenges including relay races, inflatable tube competitions, and team games in the pool.
Immediately afterward, the Snow Party took over the pool deck with music, dancing, and foam bubbles flying through the air. Despite the windy conditions, guests were fully engaged and enjoying the lively atmosphere.
We also watched the entertaining Officers vs Guests competition, featuring bottle flipping challenges, singing contests, team games, and plenty of friendly competition between crew members and passengers.
Of course, no sea day would be complete without a stop for ice cream π¦ and some relaxing time in the hot tubs while soaking up the Caribbean sunshine.
π€ MSC Seascape Crew Talent Show
Later in the afternoon, we attended the MSC Seascape Crew Talent Show in the Chora Theatre.
This special performance showcased talented crew members from various departments throughout the ship. From singers to performers representing different areas of the vessel, it was a wonderful opportunity to see another side of the people who work so hard behind the scenes during every cruise.

Our dinner included:
Caprese Salad
Fried Calamari with Marinara Sauce
Chicken Parmigiana
Linguini alle Vongole
Tiramisu
Lemoncello Cake
The food was excellent, and it was a fun way to celebrate our final evening aboard MSC Seascape.
β¨ Dreamscape Production Show
Following dinner, we headed back to the Chora Theatre for Dreamscape, one of the ship’s signature production shows.
Dreamscape featured:
Live singers
Dancers
Aerial performers
Acrobatics
Contortionists
Stunning costumes
Large video screens and visual effects
The show combined music, color, and high-energy performances into an entertaining production that quickly became one of our favorite shows of the cruise.
At the conclusion of the performance, MSC also took time to recognize many of the crew members who helped create an unforgettable experience throughout the week.
πΈ Officer Selfies in the Atrium
Before calling it a night, we attended the Officer Selfie event in the atrium.
Guests had the opportunity to meet officers from around the ship and take complimentary photos using their own phones. It was another example of how visible and approachable the officers were throughout our sailing.

Day 6 of our MSC Seascape Caribbean cruise brought us to Cozumel, Mexico, where we set off on one of the most unique excursions of our trip. We booked the MSC Cruises Caverns and Underground Swim and Shopping in Playa del Carmen excursion, which took us across the water to the mainland and deep into the fascinating Cenote Chaak Tun cave system. From underground caverns and crystal-clear waters to exploring the streets of Playa del Carmen, this turned into an unforgettable day ashore before another fun evening aboard MSC Seascape.
Ferry to Playa del Carmen & Cenote Chaak Tun Adventure β΄οΈπ΄
Our day began with a ferry ride from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen, followed by a short shuttle ride to Cenote Chaak Tun. After getting fitted with water shoes, life jackets, helmets, and snorkeling masks, we entered the underground cave system for an incredible guided adventure.
Inside the cenotes, we explored ancient limestone caverns filled with impressive rock formations, stalactites, stalagmites, and crystal-clear freshwater pools. We navigated narrow cave passages, learned about the geology of the area, and spent time swimming through the refreshing underground waters. The cave system was much larger than we expected, and the experience felt like stepping into another world.

Exploring Playa del Carmen ποΈποΈ
After our cave adventure, we returned to Playa del Carmen for some free time. We spent time wandering through the colorful streets, browsing local shops, and soaking in the atmosphere of this popular beach destination.
We also made our way down to the waterfront to enjoy views of the beautiful beach and Caribbean Sea before heading back to meet our excursion group. While our time was limited, it gave us a great glimpse of Playa del Carmen and left us wanting to return for a longer visit in the future.
Back on MSC Seascape π’
After the ferry ride back to Cozumel and returning to the ship, we cleaned up and headed out for another evening aboard MSC Seascape. Tonight featured a fun western-themed atmosphere throughout the ship, complete with themed music and menu selections in the main dining room.
Dinner at the Cala Jondal Restaurant included Texas-style favorites such as smoked brisket, pulled pork quesadillas, cornbread, and peach cobbler. It was another enjoyable meal and a great way to end an action-packed day ashore.
“In Concert” Show & Officers in Motion πΈπ
The evening entertainment included the “In Concert” production show in the Chora Theatre. This high-energy performance featured live music, talented singers, dancers, and rock classics that had the audience fully engaged throughout the show.
Afterward, we headed to the ship’s atrium for the popular Officers in Motion event, where MSC officers joined guests for a fun evening of dancing and entertainment. It was a lively way to wrap up another fantastic day onboard.
Final Thoughts
Day 6 combined adventure, exploration, and entertainment into one memorable cruise day. From swimming through the underground waters of Cenote Chaak Tun to exploring Playa del Carmen and enjoying another great evening aboard MSC Seascape, this was easily one of the highlights of our Caribbean cruise.

Are you planning a vacation on the MSC Seascape? We sure were! Before we set sail on our 7-night Western Caribbean cruise, we had a long list of questions. Now that weβre back, we want to share exactly what we learned during our time on this stunning ship to help you prepare for your own adventure! πβ¨
The MSC Seascape is one of the most modern and elegant vessels weβve ever sailed on, but it definitely has some unique features that distinguish it from other cruise lines. From the brand-new terminal in Galveston to mastering the ship’s high-tech systems, there are a few things youβll want to know before you board. π³οΈ
The stunning MSC Seascape docked at Coxen Hole, Roatan during our Western Caribbean itinerary. It looks even bigger up close! π΄βοΈπ’
Mastering the MSC Experience: What We Learned π§
One of the biggest surprises for us was the Smart Elevator system. Unlike traditional elevators, you select your floor on a touch screen before you get in. It is far more efficient, but here is a pro tip: make sure to press the button once for every person in your party so the system knows exactly how much space is needed! πΆπββοΈ
We also spent a lot of time exploring the Marketplace Buffet. It is one of the largest and most varied buffets weβve seen on a ship, featuring everything from fresh pizza to international dishes. If you are looking for a quiet meal, we recommend heading all the way to the back of the ship for some great outdoor seating views. ππ₯
Cabin Tips and Show Reservations ππ±
If you are worried about charging your gear, you will be happy to know the balcony cabins are well equipped with North American plugs, European outlets, and USB ports at the vanity. However, keep in mind that bedside plugs are limited, so bringing a portable battery pack or a long charging cable is a smart move! ππ
When it comes to entertainment, the Chora Theatre shows are fantastic, but you cannot book them until you are actually on the ship. We recommend jumping on the MSC for Me app as soon as you board to grab your tickets, as the popular time slots do fill up fast. If you miss out, do not worry. Just keep checking the app for cancellations or head to the theater standby line! ποΈβ¨
Final Thoughts on the Seascape π
Whether you are sailing out of the new terminal in Galveston or exploring ports like Roatan and Costa Maya, the MSC Seascape offers a relaxed and elegant vibe. We absolutely loved the decor, the crystal staircases in the atrium, and the overall experience. We hope this video helps you feel more confident as you plan your own Caribbean getaway! π΄βοΈ
