MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Sea Day Fun & Tropical Night 🚢🌴

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Sea Day Fun & Tropical Night - Day 2 Vlog

Our Caribbean adventure on the MSC Seascape continues! After an amazing departure from Galveston, day two brought our very first sea day. We took full advantage of the opportunity to slow down, rejuvenate, and really explore what this ship has to offer. 🌊✨

Morning Highlights & Buffet Finds 🍳

We started the morning by heading up to the Marketplace Buffet on Deck 16. Even though we hit the buffet during the peak 10:00 AM rush, we discovered that heading all the way to the aft of the ship is the best way to find seating quickly. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring everything from custom omelets to a unique pineapple juice that we haven’t seen on other cruise lines! 🍍☕

After breakfast, we headed to Le Cabaret Rouge for the Master Chef show. It is an official partnership with the hit TV show, and it was a blast to watch guests participate in a cake decorating challenge judged by the ship’s executive team. 👨‍🍳🎂

Afternoon Relaxation & Pizza Testing 🍕

You can’t go on an MSC cruise without trying the pizza, so we put it to the test! Freshly made with a perfect thin crust, it definitely lived up to the hype. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the sun, enjoying the long infinity-style hot tubs on Deck 8, and taking in the views from our balcony. ☀️🛀

The MSC pizza station was a highlight—here are two of the delicious varieties we tried! (It lived up to the hype.)

Tropical Night & Evening Entertainment 🌺

As the sun began to set, the ship transformed for Tropical Night. We enjoyed our first dinner at the Cala Jondal restaurant, where we were treated to a fantastic meal including golden fried seafood and Key Lime pie. 🥧🍤

The night finished with a high-energy Tropical Party in the four-story atrium. Between the live music at the Loft Cafe and the “Premiere” show in the Chora Theatre, it was a sea day to remember. 🎶💃

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Embarkation Day & Sail Away! 🚢🌴

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Embarkation Day & Sail Away - Day 1 Vlog

We are so excited to take you along for this 7-night Western Caribbean cruise departing from Galveston, Texas. ⚓

Getting to the Port 🚗

We started our morning by returning our rental car in La Marque, Texas, before taking a quick 25-minute Lyft ride over to the terminal. The check-in process at the Galveston port was incredibly smooth; we arrived around 10:00 a.m. and were walking onto the ship by 11:08 a.m.

First Impressions & Ship Highlights ✨

Stepping onto the MSC Seascape is a stunning experience, especially with the signature crystal staircases. During our first afternoon, we explored some of the ship’s most iconic spots:

An elevated view looking down into the multi-story atrium of the MSC Seascape cruise ship. The modern, blue-lit central core features large LED screens displaying "Willkommen An Bord" (Welcome on Board), surrounded by hanging silver decorative panels. On either side are dramatic, sparkling spiral staircases lit with blue lights. At the bottom, a bar area is busy with passengers and staff, and a grand piano sits on a lower level. A passenger is walking down the left staircase.
The spectacular multi-story atrium on the MSC Seascape immediately sets the tone for a modern, luxurious cruise with its iconic blue lighting and crystal-embellished staircases. ✨
  • The Bridge of Sighs: A must-see glass walkway at the aft of the ship with incredible views. 🌉
  • Infinity Pools: Located on Deck 8, these are perfect spots to relax and cool off while in port or at sea. 🌊
  • Jungle Pool: An indoor pool area on Deck 16 that looks fantastic for any weather. 🌿
  • Adventure Trail: We even tested out the ropes trail and checked out the waterslides! 🧗‍♂️

Our Balcony Cabin (10024) 🛌

We are staying in cabin 10024, a starboard-side balcony cabin on Deck 10. The room is modern and well-designed, featuring a full-size couch, a cleverly tucked-away coffee table, and plenty of mirrors. One handy tip for future cruisers: the safe is a bit small, so it’s best for valuables like wallets and passports rather than large tablets. 🧳

Evening Entertainment & Dining 🎭🍽️

The night was packed with activity! We caught the “Imaginocean” show in the Chora Theatre, which was a colorful, family-friendly production. We also visited Le Cabaret Rouge for a variety show featuring some incredibly talented performers.

For dinner, we visited the Green Wave Restaurant. The service was top-notch, and the food did not disappoint. From the delicious tomato soup with pesto to the perfectly cooked prime rib, it was a fantastic first meal on board. 🍷

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Your Top 15 Questions Answered! 🚢⚓

Our MSC Seascape Questions Answered! (Watch Before You Sail)

Are you planning a vacation on the MSC Seascape? We sure were! Before we set sail on our 7-night Western Caribbean cruise, we had a long list of questions. Now that we’re back, we want to share exactly what we learned during our time on this stunning ship to help you prepare for your own adventure! 🌊✨

The MSC Seascape is one of the most modern and elegant vessels we’ve ever sailed on, but it definitely has some unique features that distinguish it from other cruise lines. From the brand-new terminal in Galveston to mastering the ship’s high-tech systems, there are a few things you’ll want to know before you board. 🛳️

he MSC Seascape cruise ship docked at the Coxen Hole cruise terminal in Roatan, Honduras, under a clear blue sky.
The stunning MSC Seascape docked at Coxen Hole, Roatan during our Western Caribbean itinerary. It looks even bigger up close! 🌴☀️🚢

Mastering the MSC Experience: What We Learned 🧭

One of the biggest surprises for us was the Smart Elevator system. Unlike traditional elevators, you select your floor on a touch screen before you get in. It is far more efficient, but here is a pro tip: make sure to press the button once for every person in your party so the system knows exactly how much space is needed! 📶🏃‍♂️

We also spent a lot of time exploring the Marketplace Buffet. It is one of the largest and most varied buffets we’ve seen on a ship, featuring everything from fresh pizza to international dishes. If you are looking for a quiet meal, we recommend heading all the way to the back of the ship for some great outdoor seating views. 🍕🥗

Cabin Tips and Show Reservations 🎭📱

If you are worried about charging your gear, you will be happy to know the balcony cabins are well equipped with North American plugs, European outlets, and USB ports at the vanity. However, keep in mind that bedside plugs are limited, so bringing a portable battery pack or a long charging cable is a smart move! 🔌🔋

When it comes to entertainment, the Chora Theatre shows are fantastic, but you cannot book them until you are actually on the ship. We recommend jumping on the MSC for Me app as soon as you board to grab your tickets, as the popular time slots do fill up fast. If you miss out, do not worry. Just keep checking the app for cancellations or head to the theater standby line! 🎟️✨

Final Thoughts on the Seascape 🌟

Whether you are sailing out of the new terminal in Galveston or exploring ports like Roatan and Costa Maya, the MSC Seascape offers a relaxed and elegant vibe. We absolutely loved the decor, the crystal staircases in the atrium, and the overall experience. We hope this video helps you feel more confident as you plan your own Caribbean getaway! 🌴☀️

Our Final Sea Day on the Carnival Jubilee: Shows, Food, and Fun! 🚢✨

Carnival Jubilee Caribbean Cruise: Last Sea Day & Epic Final Shows - Day 7 Vlog

The final day of a cruise is always bittersweet, but on the Carnival Jubilee, we made sure to go out with a bang! For our seventh and final day at sea, we packed in as much fun, food, and entertainment as possible while sailing back toward Galveston. 🌊

If you’ve been following our Western Caribbean journey, you know it has been an incredible experience from start to finish! 🏝️

Brunch, Burgers, and Towel Animals 🍳🐘

We started the morning the right way with the Sea Day Brunch in the Pacific Dining Room. It’s one of our favorite Carnival traditions! After fueling up, we headed back to our stateroom and were greeted by an amazing sight: a full “army” of all the towel animals we had throughout the week! It was a great touch and the perfect way to kick off the afternoon. 🐵🐍

A collection of five creative towel animals, including a mouse, elephant, dinosaur, and rabbit, with black button eyes, are arranged on a white cruise ship bed with a blue and white striped runner. In the foreground is a small postcard that says "OUR SPECIAL GIFT TO YOU!" next to the folding, confirming the gesture of the cruise staff.
Our final day surprise: a whole “army” of all the towel animals we met throughout the week on the Carnival Jubilee! 🐘🐵 It was such a special touch.

For lunch, we had to make one final stop at Guy’s Burger Joint. You really can’t cruise on the Jubilee without getting those famous burgers and fries one last time! 🍔🍟

Entertainment and Epic Final Shows 🎭🎤

The afternoon was all about relaxation and a bit of behind-the-scenes fun. We attended the Meet the Performers Q&A in the Havana Bar, which was a great way to hear from the talented people who make the shows happen. We also squeezed in a quick workout at the Cloud 9 Fitness Center and some quiet time in the Serenity area. 🧘‍♂️💪

As evening fell, we enjoyed our final dinner in the main dining room, featuring the iconic Carnival Melting Chocolate Cake and Baked Alaska. 🍰🍫

To cap off the entire cruise, we headed to Center Stage for the “We Are One” show. The aerial acts, singing, and celebration of world cultures were absolutely spectacular and easily one of the best entertainment highlights of the trip! 🌎✨

Carnival Jubilee Day 6: Ropes Course, Formal Night & White Hot Night Party 🚢 ✨

Day 6 was a full sea day on the Carnival Jubilee, and it was absolutely action-packed! From high-altitude thrills to an elegant formal night, we made the most of every minute. 🌊 ✨

High-Adrenaline Fun: The Ropes Course 🧗‍♂️ ⚓

We headed to the Ultimate Playground on Deck 18 to tackle the ropes course. This complimentary activity features the famous “Walk the Plank,” which takes you right out over the edge of the ship! 😱 It was a bit windy, which added an extra layer of excitement to the experience.

A woman wearing a red safety harness and sunglasses balances excitedly on a narrow blue beam extending out over the open ocean from the Carnival Jubilee. She has one arm raised and one leg lifted in a playful pose against a clear, sunny sky.
Adrenaline rush! 🌊 Taking a walk on the wild side as I “Walk the Plank” high above the Caribbean Sea on the Carnival Jubilee.

Towel Folding & Morning Fun at Center Stage 🐘 🎩

The Towel Folding Fun at Center Stage was hands-down the best we’ve seen. The Cruise Director had hundreds of us wearing towel “Princess Leia” hats while teaching us how to make dogs and elephants. It was a hilarious and memorable way to spend the morning!

Relaxing at Serenity & The Lone Star Tailgate ☀️ 🏟️

We spent the afternoon soaking up the sun in the Serenity Adult-Only area. While relaxing in the hot tubs, we could hear the excitement from the Lone Star Tailgate on the Lido deck. This was a high-energy sports relay event for families.

Elegant Formal Night & Celestial Strings 🎻 ✨

For our second formal night, the ship was buzzing. After an elegant dinner, we caught Celestial Strings at Center Stage. This show features phenomenal violinists and vocalists in a beautiful, high-energy performance. Pro tip: Arrive early for a good seat!

Love & Marriage and the White Hot Night Party 🕺 🤍

We ended the night with the hilarious Love and Marriage Show followed by the White Hot Night Party on the Lido deck. It was incredible to see the deck packed with guests dressed in white, dancing the night away! 🎤 💃

Carnival Jubilee Day 5: Rain, Reefs, and Dinner at Cucina del Capitano 🚢⚓

Carnival Jubilee Caribbean Cruise: Mahogany Bay (Isla Tropicale) Snorkeling - Day 5 Vlog

If you have ever been on a cruise, you know that Mother Nature doesn’t always check your itinerary! ⛈️ On Day 5 of our Carnival Jubilee cruise, we arrived at Mahogany Bay (Isla Tropicale) and were hit by a massive rain storm as soon as we got off the ship. 🌧️

We didn’t let the weather stop us from exploring! We spent the morning checking out the shops in the village and walking the nature paths. While the rain let up for a bit, it actually came back even worse after lunch. 🛍️🌿

Snorkeling at Mahogany Bay: A Hidden Gem 🤿🐠

Once the weather finally cleared, we headed straight for the water. If you are visiting Mahogany Bay and want to find some good snorkeling, here is our best tip: Head to the far end and out on the pier. 🌊

People preparing to snorkel from the wooden pier at Mahogany Bay, Roatan, with a lifeguard station under a red umbrella in the center.
Getting ready to jump in! Head to the far end of the pier for the best snorkeling access at Mahogany Bay.

The reefs were beautiful and it was a lot of fun to watch the fish swimming through the reefs. It turned out to be a great way to spend the afternoon before heading back to the ship! 🐚✨

Dinner at Cucina del Capitano 🍝

Back onboard the Carnival Jubilee, we decided to change things up for dinner. We visited Cucina del Capitano for their included Italian dining. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is the perfect comfort meal after a long day at port. It is a great spot to enjoy a sit-down meal that feels like a specialty experience but is actually complimentary on the Jubilee! 😋🍷

A Night of Celebration 🎭💃

The entertainment on the Jubilee continues to impress us! We ended our night at Center Stage for the “A Night of Celebration” featuring the Rio Carnival show. The energy, the costumes, and the aerial talent were top-notch. To top it all off, we headed to the theater for a round of Family Feud Live, which is always a highlight for a laugh. 🎤🎉

Evening on the Jubilee 🎭🎸

Once we were back on the Carnival Jubilee, we had dinner in the Pacific Restaurant. 🍽️

The evening entertainment was a highlight of the day. We went to the Jubilee Theater for “Soulbound” by Playlist Productions, which featured great singing and visual effects. Carnival Jubilee Caribbean Cruise: Cozumel El Cid & ChiBang! Dinner - Day 3 Vlog

Day 3 of our 7-night Western Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Jubilee brought us to the beautiful island of Cozumel, Mexico! 🚢 We had an incredible day exploring a local resort and enjoying the unique dining experiences back on the ship.

Easy Port Access to El Cid La Ceiba

For our Cozumel excursion, we decided to visit El Cid La Ceiba. One of the best parts about this location is how convenient it is. It was an easy 10-minute walk from the Puerta Maya port where the Carnival Jubilee docks. We booked our pass through Resort for a Day, which made the entire experience seamless.

Our day pass included all of our food and drinks, allowing us to relax without a worry. 🍹🌮 We spent the afternoon enjoying the pools and jumping into the ocean for some fantastic snorkeling in the crystal clear Caribbean water. For lunch, we enjoyed a full spread of delicious fajitas and nachos right by the water before making our way back to the ship.

Evening Fun on the Carnival Jubilee

The excitement continued once we were back on board. We headed over to ChiBang! for a delicious Chinese dinner. During our meal, we were treated to a surprise performance by dancing dragons, which was a huge highlight of the night! 🐉 To wrap up an amazing Day 3, we joined the crowd at Center Stage for the Lone Star Tailgate party. 🤠🎸
