This area can get busy on sea days, but the layout still offers plenty of seating options, including daybeds along the pool edge and quieter loungers toward the sides. At the aft, the Sky Bar provides a great spot to relax with views over the wake, while the Bridge of Sighs offers one of the most iconic viewing points onboard, with glass-floor sections looking down toward the infinity pools below. Wondering what food is included on MSC Seascape? 🍽️ During our 7-night Western Caribbean cruise, we explored the complimentary dining options available throughout the ship and were impressed by the variety of food included with the cruise fare.

From the Marketplace Buffet and main dining rooms to complimentary breakfast venues around the ship, there are plenty of options to keep you well-fed throughout your cruise. Whether you’re looking for a quick snack, a full breakfast, or a multi-course dinner, MSC Seascape offers a wide range of included dining choices.

The Marketplace Buffet on Deck 16 serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a rotating selection of items. During our sailing, we found everything from omelet stations, fresh fruit, pastries, and bacon at breakfast to carving stations, pizza, burgers, salads, international dishes, desserts, and soft-serve ice cream throughout the day. 🍕🍔🍰

We also checked out some of the additional complimentary breakfast options available onboard, including the Loft Café, Hola! Tacos & Cantina, and Butcher’s Cut Steakhouse. While Hola! Tacos & Cantina and Butcher’s Cut are specialty restaurants in the evenings, guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast there in the mornings.

For a more traditional dining experience, MSC Seascape’s main dining rooms offer breakfast, brunch, and dinner. During our cruise, we enjoyed a variety of appetizers, entrées, and desserts, including prime rib, New York strip steak, lobster on gala night, cheesecake, tiramisu, and the classic baked Alaska. 🦞🍰

If you’re planning a cruise on MSC Seascape and wondering what the gym is like, you’ve come to the right place. 🚢 Located on Deck 8 forward, the complimentary fitness center offers a wide variety of equipment for guests looking to stay active while at sea. In this tour, you’ll get a closer look at the gym layout, equipment, and workout spaces available onboard.

The fitness center features a variety of Technogym equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, exercise bikes, stair climbers, weight machines, free weights, benches, a Smith machine, kettlebells, medicine balls, and more. There is also a functional training area and an exercise studio. Guests looking for instructor-led workouts can also participate in fitness classes, which typically come at an additional cost.

One thing that stands out about the MSC Seascape fitness center is the variety of equipment available. 🏋️ Whether you prefer cardio workouts, strength training, or free weights, there are plenty of options to help you maintain your fitness routine while cruising. The large windows along one side of the gym also create a bright workout space with great ocean views. 🌊

The gym is complimentary for guests and conveniently located near the front of the ship on Deck 8. During our sailing, the fitness center was open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, making it easy to fit in a workout before breakfast, during a sea day, or after exploring a port of call.

First Impressions

One of the first things that stood out to us was the sleek and professional appearance of the luggage. The micro-diamond textured finish, ribbed shell design, and protective corner guards give the suitcases a premium look while also helping protect them from the bumps and knocks that can happen during travel.

The larger checked suitcases feature reinforced corner guards on all four upper corners, while the carry-on includes corner protection on the front upper corners.

The 360-degree spinner wheels roll incredibly smoothly, making it easy to navigate airports, cruise terminals, hotels, and city streets. In fact, they roll so well that we’ve occasionally had to chase after a suitcase when it started rolling away on a slight incline!

The 24-inch and 28-inch suitcases open almost evenly down the middle, making packing and organization simple.

Carry-On Features We Love

The 20-inch carry-on includes several features that stood out during our review.

One of the most useful additions is the dedicated front compartment designed for travel technology.

This compartment includes:

Are you considering booking a cruise on the MSC Seascape? 🌴 After spending 7 nights aboard this beautiful MSC Cruises ship on a Western Caribbean cruise from Galveston, Texas, we wanted to share our honest likes and wishes to help you decide if MSC Seascape is the right cruise ship for your next vacation.

In this review, we’re focusing on the areas that matter most to cruisers: the ship’s Layout & Amenities, our Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024, the Free Food & Restaurants, and the Entertainment & Activities available onboard. MSC Seascape is one of the most visually stunning cruise ships we’ve sailed on, but there were also a few areas where we felt there was room for improvement.

🌊 MSC Seascape Layout & Amenities

One of the first things that stood out to us aboard MSC Seascape was the ship’s design. The vessel feels modern, bright, and spacious, with plenty of beautiful public areas to explore. Throughout the week, we found ourselves constantly discovering new viewpoints, relaxing spaces, and activities.

Some of our favorite areas included:

  • Marina Pool
  • Jungle Pool
  • Pirates Cove Aquapark
  • Bridge of Sighs
  • Infinity Pool
  • Infinity Hot Tubs
  • Times Square
  • The stunning atrium

We especially enjoyed the aft areas of the ship, including the Bridge of Sighs, which offered some fantastic ocean views and a unique perspective of the ship’s wake. The Marina Pool and Jungle Pool were both great places to relax, while Pirates Cove Aquapark added plenty of family fun with waterslides and splash areas.

  • Unique attractions like ROBOTRON and the Bridge of Sighs

  • No mini golf course
  • No dedicated jogging track
  • Shuffleboard required an additional fee
  • Some outdoor venues could become busy during peak times

Overall, MSC Seascape is one of the most beautiful ships we’ve sailed on and offers plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy.

🛏️ Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024 Review

For this cruise, we stayed in Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024 on Deck 10.

One of the biggest surprises was just how quiet this cabin was. Throughout the week, we experienced very little noise from neighboring cabins or public spaces, making it one of the quieter cruise cabins we’ve stayed in.

One of our wishes for this cabin was additional storage space, as we found the available storage somewhat limited during our 7-night cruise.

🤔 Wishes

  • Small shower
  • Cabin temperature could have been cooler
  • Metal balcony railing instead of glass
  • Limited storage space

While the balcony offered great outdoor space, the metal railing partially blocked views when seated compared to a glass balcony.

Despite those minor issues, we were very happy with the cabin overall and would gladly stay here again.

🍕 Free Food & Restaurants

Food is one of the most important parts of any cruise, and MSC Seascape offered a wide variety of complimentary dining options throughout the ship.

Marketplace Buffet

The Marketplace Buffet quickly became one of our favorite dining venues onboard.

Highlights included:

  • Fresh fruit selection 🍉
  • Excellent complimentary pizza 🍕
  • Rotating hot food stations
  • Salads and desserts
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options

We found the buffet to be one of the better cruise buffets we’ve experienced, particularly when it came to the variety and quality of the food.

Complimentary Breakfast Options

Beyond the buffet, MSC Seascape also offered complimentary breakfast at:

  • Butcher’s Cut
  • Hola! Tacos & Cantina
  • Loft Café

Having several breakfast venues available helped spread guests throughout the ship and provided some nice variety during the cruise.

Main Dining Rooms

Most of our meals in the main dining room were enjoyed at:

  • Green Wave Restaurant
  • Cala Jondal Restaurant

The dining rooms were attractive and comfortable, and we enjoyed many of the appetizers, entrées, and desserts offered throughout the week.

We would have liked to see another complimentary food venue available on the lower decks outside of the buffet and main dining rooms, especially for guests looking for a quick snack or light meal during the day.

🎭 Entertainment & Activities

MSC Seascape offered a busy schedule of entertainment and activities throughout the cruise, helping ensure there was always something happening onboard.

The Chora Theatre productions featured:

One thing that really stood out to us was how involved the officers were throughout the cruise. Whether it was competitions, events, parties, or guest interactions, their participation helped create a fun and welcoming atmosphere onboard.

After spending 7 nights aboard MSC Seascape, we came away impressed by the ship’s beautiful design, enjoyable pool areas, complimentary dining options, entertainment, and welcoming atmosphere.

While there were a few areas we would improve, the positives far outweighed the negatives, and we would happily sail aboard MSC Seascape again in the future.

Our final day aboard MSC Seascape had arrived, and while it’s always a little bittersweet knowing a cruise is coming to an end, we were determined to make the most of every moment. Day 7 was a relaxing sea day filled with great food, fun activities, entertainment, and one final chance to enjoy everything this beautiful ship has to offer before returning to Galveston. ☀️

🍳 Breakfast at Butcher’s Cut

We started our morning with breakfast at Butcher’s Cut, MSC Seascape’s specialty steakhouse, which offers a complimentary breakfast service. We enjoyed fresh pastries, coffee, juice, a smoothie bowl, and steak and eggs while taking in beautiful ocean views from our table by the window.

After breakfast, we stopped by the Loft Café for coffee and a few extra pastries before heading to one of the most important events of the day.

🎭 MSC Seascape Disembarkation Presentation

At the Chora Theatre, we attended the disembarkation presentation where MSC explained the procedures for departure day. Guests learned about luggage collection, departure zones, walk-off options, and timing for the following morning.

One pleasant surprise was seeing the captain and senior officers participate in the presentation while also recognizing many of the hardworking crew members who help make each cruise memorable.

☀️ Pool Olympics, Snow Party & Sea Day Activities

The afternoon was packed with activities around the Marina Pool on Deck 18.

The MSC Pool Olympics brought plenty of laughs as guests competed in fun challenges including relay races, inflatable tube competitions, and team games in the pool.

Immediately afterward, the Snow Party took over the pool deck with music, dancing, and foam bubbles flying through the air. Despite the windy conditions, guests were fully engaged and enjoying the lively atmosphere.

We also watched the entertaining Officers vs Guests competition, featuring bottle flipping challenges, singing contests, team games, and plenty of friendly competition between crew members and passengers.

Of course, no sea day would be complete without a stop for ice cream 🍦 and some relaxing time in the hot tubs while soaking up the Caribbean sunshine.

🎤 MSC Seascape Crew Talent Show

Later in the afternoon, we attended the MSC Seascape Crew Talent Show in the Chora Theatre.

This special performance showcased talented crew members from various departments throughout the ship. From singers to performers representing different areas of the vessel, it was a wonderful opportunity to see another side of the people who work so hard behind the scenes during every cruise.

🍝 Italian Night in the Main Dining Room

One of the highlights of our final evening was Italian Night in the Cala Jondal Restaurant.

As we entered the dining room, the wait staff welcomed guests with singing, dancing, decorations, and festive Italian-themed celebrations. The entire restaurant was transformed with Italian colors, music, and energy.

Our dinner included:

  • Caprese Salad
  • Fried Calamari with Marinara Sauce
  • Chicken Parmigiana
  • Linguini alle Vongole
  • Tiramisu
  • Lemoncello Cake

The food was excellent, and it was a fun way to celebrate our final evening aboard MSC Seascape.

✨ Dreamscape Production Show

Following dinner, we headed back to the Chora Theatre for Dreamscape, one of the ship’s signature production shows.

Dreamscape featured:

  • Live singers
  • Dancers
  • Aerial performers
  • Acrobatics
  • Contortionists
  • Stunning costumes
  • Large video screens and visual effects

The show combined music, color, and high-energy performances into an entertaining production that quickly became one of our favorite shows of the cruise.

At the conclusion of the performance, MSC also took time to recognize many of the crew members who helped create an unforgettable experience throughout the week.

Before calling it a night, we attended the Officer Selfie event in the atrium.

Guests had the opportunity to meet officers from around the ship and take complimentary photos using their own phones. It was another example of how visible and approachable the officers were throughout our sailing.

🌊 Final Thoughts on MSC Seascape

As our seven-night Caribbean cruise aboard MSC Seascape came to an end, we reflected on what a fantastic week it had been. From exciting ports and beautiful sea days to great entertainment, excellent dining, and friendly crew members, MSC Seascape delivered a memorable vacation experience.

Day 7 was the perfect way to finish our cruise, combining relaxation, fun activities, great food, and outstanding entertainment before returning to Galveston the following morning. 🚢
