MSC Seascape Review: Our Likes & Wishes After 7 Nights

Are you considering booking a cruise on the MSC Seascape? 🌴 After spending 7 nights aboard this beautiful MSC Cruises ship on a Western Caribbean cruise from Galveston, Texas, we wanted to share our honest likes and wishes to help you decide if MSC Seascape is the right cruise ship for your next vacation.

In this review, we’re focusing on the areas that matter most to cruisers: the ship’s Layout & Amenities, our Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024, the Free Food & Restaurants, and the Entertainment & Activities available onboard. MSC Seascape is one of the most visually stunning cruise ships we’ve sailed on, but there were also a few areas where we felt there was room for improvement.

🚒 Watch Our MSC Seascape Review

🌊 MSC Seascape Layout & Amenities

One of the first things that stood out to us aboard MSC Seascape was the ship’s design. The vessel feels modern, bright, and spacious, with plenty of beautiful public areas to explore. Throughout the week, we found ourselves constantly discovering new viewpoints, relaxing spaces, and activities.

Some of our favorite areas included:

  • Marina Pool
  • Jungle Pool
  • Pirates Cove Aquapark
  • Bridge of Sighs
  • Infinity Pool
  • Infinity Hot Tubs
  • Times Square
  • The stunning atrium

We especially enjoyed the aft areas of the ship, including the Bridge of Sighs, which offered some fantastic ocean views and a unique perspective of the ship’s wake. The Marina Pool and Jungle Pool were both great places to relax, while Pirates Cove Aquapark added plenty of family fun with waterslides and splash areas.

πŸ‘ Likes

  • Beautiful modern design throughout the ship
  • Excellent pool areas and outdoor spaces
  • Stunning atrium and public venues
  • Unique attractions like ROBOTRON and the Bridge of Sighs
  • Plenty of places to relax and enjoy the ocean views

πŸ€” Wishes

  • No mini golf course
  • No dedicated jogging track
  • Shuffleboard required an additional fee
  • Some outdoor venues could become busy during peak times

Overall, MSC Seascape is one of the most beautiful ships we’ve sailed on and offers plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy.

πŸ›οΈ Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024 Review

For this cruise, we stayed in Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024 on Deck 10.

One of the biggest surprises was just how quiet this cabin was. Throughout the week, we experienced very little noise from neighboring cabins or public spaces, making it one of the quieter cruise cabins we’ve stayed in.

MSC Seascape Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024 featuring a queen bed, couch, vanity area, television, storage space, and private balcony.
Inside our MSC Seascape Bella Class Balcony Cabin 10024, featuring a comfortable bed, couch, vanity, storage space, and private balcony during our 7-night Caribbean cruise. 🚒🌴

πŸ‘ Likes

  • Comfortable bed
  • Spacious couch
  • Good storage options
  • Functional vanity area
  • Multiple charging and power outlets
  • Quiet location
  • Modern cabin design

One of our wishes for this cabin was additional storage space, as we found the available storage somewhat limited during our 7-night cruise.

πŸ€” Wishes

  • Small shower
  • Cabin temperature could have been cooler
  • Metal balcony railing instead of glass
  • Limited storage space

While the balcony offered great outdoor space, the metal railing partially blocked views when seated compared to a glass balcony.

Despite those minor issues, we were very happy with the cabin overall and would gladly stay here again.

πŸ• Free Food & Restaurants

Food is one of the most important parts of any cruise, and MSC Seascape offered a wide variety of complimentary dining options throughout the ship.

Marketplace Buffet

The Marketplace Buffet quickly became one of our favorite dining venues onboard.

Highlights included:

  • Fresh fruit selection πŸ‰
  • Excellent complimentary pizza πŸ•
  • Rotating hot food stations
  • Salads and desserts
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options

We found the buffet to be one of the better cruise buffets we’ve experienced, particularly when it came to the variety and quality of the food.

Complimentary Breakfast Options

Beyond the buffet, MSC Seascape also offered complimentary breakfast at:

  • Butcher’s Cut
  • Hola! Tacos & Cantina
  • Loft CafΓ©

Having several breakfast venues available helped spread guests throughout the ship and provided some nice variety during the cruise.

Main Dining Rooms

Most of our meals in the main dining room were enjoyed at:

  • Green Wave Restaurant
  • Cala Jondal Restaurant

The dining rooms were attractive and comfortable, and we enjoyed many of the appetizers, entrΓ©es, and desserts offered throughout the week.

πŸ‘ Likes

  • Excellent pizza
  • Fresh fruit selection
  • Variety of breakfast venues
  • Attractive dining rooms
  • Good selection of complimentary food

πŸ€” Wishes

We would have liked to see another complimentary food venue available on the lower decks outside of the buffet and main dining rooms, especially for guests looking for a quick snack or light meal during the day.

🎭 Entertainment & Activities

MSC Seascape offered a busy schedule of entertainment and activities throughout the cruise, helping ensure there was always something happening onboard.

Chora Theatre Shows

The Chora Theatre productions featured:

  • Singing
  • Dancing
  • Acrobatic performances
  • Aerial acts
  • Large digital screens

Parties & Activities

Some of our favorite activities included:

  • White Night 🀍
  • Tropical Night 🌴
  • Silent Disco 🎧
  • Snow Party ❄️
  • Officers vs Guests competitions
  • Selfies with the Officers
  • Crew Talent Show

One thing that really stood out to us was how involved the officers were throughout the cruise. Whether it was competitions, events, parties, or guest interactions, their participation helped create a fun and welcoming atmosphere onboard.

πŸ‘ Likes

  • Active daily schedule
  • Excellent officer participation
  • Fun themed parties
  • Crew Talent Show
  • Family-friendly atmosphere

πŸ€” Wishes

While we enjoyed the entertainment overall, we would have liked to see more variety in some of the theatre productions and the nightly entertainment offered at La Cabaret Rouge.

βš“ Final Thoughts

After spending 7 nights aboard MSC Seascape, we came away impressed by the ship’s beautiful design, enjoyable pool areas, complimentary dining options, entertainment, and welcoming atmosphere.

While there were a few areas we would improve, the positives far outweighed the negatives, and we would happily sail aboard MSC Seascape again in the future.

If you’re considering booking MSC Seascape, we hope this review helps you understand what to expect and whether this ship is the right fit for your next cruise vacation. πŸš’β˜€οΈ

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Final Sea Day Fun & Italian Night - Day 7 Vlog

Our final day aboard MSC Seascape had arrived, and while it’s always a little bittersweet knowing a cruise is coming to an end, we were determined to make the most of every moment. Day 7 was a relaxing sea day filled with great food, fun activities, entertainment, and one final chance to enjoy everything this beautiful ship has to offer before returning to Galveston. β˜€οΈ

🍳 Breakfast at Butcher’s Cut

We started our morning with breakfast at Butcher’s Cut, MSC Seascape’s specialty steakhouse, which offers a complimentary breakfast service. We enjoyed fresh pastries, coffee, juice, a smoothie bowl, and steak and eggs while taking in beautiful ocean views from our table by the window.

After breakfast, we stopped by the Loft CafΓ© for coffee and a few extra pastries before heading to one of the most important events of the day.

🎭 MSC Seascape Disembarkation Presentation

At the Chora Theatre, we attended the disembarkation presentation where MSC explained the procedures for departure day. Guests learned about luggage collection, departure zones, walk-off options, and timing for the following morning.

One pleasant surprise was seeing the captain and senior officers participate in the presentation while also recognizing many of the hardworking crew members who help make each cruise memorable.

β˜€οΈ Pool Olympics, Snow Party & Sea Day Activities

The afternoon was packed with activities around the Marina Pool on Deck 18.

The MSC Pool Olympics brought plenty of laughs as guests competed in fun challenges including relay races, inflatable tube competitions, and team games in the pool.

Immediately afterward, the Snow Party took over the pool deck with music, dancing, and foam bubbles flying through the air. Despite the windy conditions, guests were fully engaged and enjoying the lively atmosphere.

We also watched the entertaining Officers vs Guests competition, featuring bottle flipping challenges, singing contests, team games, and plenty of friendly competition between crew members and passengers.

Of course, no sea day would be complete without a stop for ice cream 🍦 and some relaxing time in the hot tubs while soaking up the Caribbean sunshine.

🎀 MSC Seascape Crew Talent Show

Later in the afternoon, we attended the MSC Seascape Crew Talent Show in the Chora Theatre.

This special performance showcased talented crew members from various departments throughout the ship. From singers to performers representing different areas of the vessel, it was a wonderful opportunity to see another side of the people who work so hard behind the scenes during every cruise.

🍝 Italian Night in the Main Dining Room

One of the highlights of our final evening was Italian Night in the Cala Jondal Restaurant.

As we entered the dining room, the wait staff welcomed guests with singing, dancing, decorations, and festive Italian-themed celebrations. The entire restaurant was transformed with Italian colors, music, and energy.

Our dinner included:

  • Caprese Salad
  • Fried Calamari with Marinara Sauce
  • Chicken Parmigiana
  • Linguini alle Vongole
  • Tiramisu
  • Lemoncello Cake

The food was excellent, and it was a fun way to celebrate our final evening aboard MSC Seascape.

✨ Dreamscape Production Show

Following dinner, we headed back to the Chora Theatre for Dreamscape, one of the ship’s signature production shows.

Dreamscape featured:

  • Live singers
  • Dancers
  • Aerial performers
  • Acrobatics
  • Contortionists
  • Stunning costumes
  • Large video screens and visual effects

The show combined music, color, and high-energy performances into an entertaining production that quickly became one of our favorite shows of the cruise.

At the conclusion of the performance, MSC also took time to recognize many of the crew members who helped create an unforgettable experience throughout the week.

πŸ“Έ Officer Selfies in the Atrium

Before calling it a night, we attended the Officer Selfie event in the atrium.

Guests had the opportunity to meet officers from around the ship and take complimentary photos using their own phones. It was another example of how visible and approachable the officers were throughout our sailing.

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Sea Day Waterslides & Formal Night - Day 3 Vlog

Our second sea day on the MSC Seascape was the perfect mix of high energy fun and formal elegance. If you are planning a trip on this ship, Day 3 is a highlight you definitely do not want to miss.

The Ultimate Sea Day Brunch πŸ₯β˜•

We started our morning at the Green Wave Restaurant for the Tour de Brunch. Unlike the standard breakfast from previous days, this special menu featured a mix of breakfast and lunch items like burgers and specialty dishes. We loved the whipped yogurt parfait with fresh strawberries and the Huevos Rancheros which came with a generous serving of guacamole.

Shopping and Pirate’s Cove 🌊🎒

After browsing the logo store on Deck 8 for souvenirs and grabbing a soft serve ice cream, we headed to Pirate’s Cove on Deck 18. We spent the afternoon testing the racer slides and the high speed tube slide, which was the fastest of the bunch. We also relaxed in the hot tubs where staff ensured the area stayed peaceful and not overcrowded.

A high-angle view of Pirate’s Cove on the MSC Seascape, featuring large brown waterslides, a colorful splash pad with a yellow mushroom fountain, giant decorative pink octopus tentacles, and elevated rope bridges under a clear blue sky.

Gala Night and Entertainment πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

Day 3 is a Formal Night and the ship felt incredibly elegant. We returned to the Cala Jondal Restaurant for an amazing meal:

  • Main Event: We ordered the duo of broiled lobster tail and grilled jumbo shrimp.
  • Surf and Turf: We splurged $5 to add a second entree of filet mignon with truffle mashed potatoes.
  • Dessert: The Baked Alaska and the crunchy Royal Cake were the perfect finish.

Before the romantic “Young at Heart” musical show, we attended the Captain’s Welcome in the Chora Theatre to meet the senior officers. We capped off the night with a visit to Le Cabaret Rouge and the high energy Silent Disco in the atrium. It was a perfect sea day before we head to Costa Maya tomorrow!

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Sea Day Fun & Tropical Night - Day 2 Vlog

Our Caribbean adventure on the MSC Seascape continues! After an amazing departure from Galveston, day two brought our very first sea day. We took full advantage of the opportunity to slow down, rejuvenate, and really explore what this ship has to offer. 🌊✨

Morning Highlights & Buffet Finds 🍳

We started the morning by heading up to the Marketplace Buffet on Deck 16. Even though we hit the buffet during the peak 10:00 AM rush, we discovered that heading all the way to the aft of the ship is the best way to find seating quickly. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring everything from custom omelets to a unique pineapple juice that we haven’t seen on other cruise lines! πŸβ˜•

After breakfast, we headed to Le Cabaret Rouge for the Master Chef show. It is an official partnership with the hit TV show, and it was a blast to watch guests participate in a cake decorating challenge judged by the ship’s executive team. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸŽ‚

Afternoon Relaxation & Pizza Testing πŸ•

You can’t go on an MSC cruise without trying the pizza, so we put it to the test! Freshly made with a perfect thin crust, it definitely lived up to the hype. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the sun, enjoying the long infinity-style hot tubs on Deck 8, and taking in the views from our balcony. β˜€οΈπŸ›€

Tropical Night & Evening Entertainment 🌺

As the sun began to set, the ship transformed for Tropical Night. We enjoyed our first dinner at the Cala Jondal restaurant, where we were treated to a fantastic meal including golden fried seafood and Key Lime pie. πŸ₯§πŸ€

The night finished with a high-energy Tropical Party in the four-story atrium. Between the live music at the Loft Cafe and the “Premiere” show in the Chora Theatre, it was a sea day to remember. πŸŽΆπŸ’ƒ

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Embarkation Day & Sail Away - Day 1 Vlog

We are so excited to take you along for this 7-night Western Caribbean cruise departing from Galveston, Texas. βš“

Getting to the Port πŸš—

We started our morning by returning our rental car in La Marque, Texas, before taking a quick 25-minute Lyft ride over to the terminal. The check-in process at the Galveston port was incredibly smooth; we arrived around 10:00 a.m. and were walking onto the ship by 11:08 a.m.

First Impressions & Ship Highlights ✨

Stepping onto the MSC Seascape is a stunning experience, especially with the signature crystal staircases. During our first afternoon, we explored some of the ship’s most iconic spots:

An elevated view looking down into the multi-story atrium of the MSC Seascape cruise ship. The modern, blue-lit central core features large LED screens displaying "Willkommen An Bord" (Welcome on Board), surrounded by hanging silver decorative panels. On either side are dramatic, sparkling spiral staircases lit with blue lights. At the bottom, a bar area is busy with passengers and staff, and a grand piano sits on a lower level. A passenger is walking down the left staircase.
The spectacular multi-story atrium on the MSC Seascape immediately sets the tone for a modern, luxurious cruise with its iconic blue lighting and crystal-embellished staircases. ✨
  • The Bridge of Sighs: A must-see glass walkway at the aft of the ship with incredible views. πŸŒ‰
  • Infinity Pools: Located on Deck 8, these are perfect spots to relax and cool off while in port or at sea. 🌊
  • Jungle Pool: An indoor pool area on Deck 16 that looks fantastic for any weather. 🌿
  • Adventure Trail: We even tested out the ropes trail and checked out the waterslides! πŸ§—β€β™‚οΈ

Our Balcony Cabin (10024) πŸ›Œ

We are staying in cabin 10024, a starboard-side balcony cabin on Deck 10. The room is modern and well-designed, featuring a full-size couch, a cleverly tucked-away coffee table, and plenty of mirrors. One handy tip for future cruisers: the safe is a bit small, so it’s best for valuables like wallets and passports rather than large tablets. 🧳

Evening Entertainment & Dining 🎭🍽️

The night was packed with activity! We caught the “Imaginocean” show in the Chora Theatre, which was a colorful, family-friendly production. We also visited Le Cabaret Rouge for a variety show featuring some incredibly talented performers.

For dinner, we visited the Green Wave Restaurant. The service was top-notch, and the food did not disappoint. From the delicious tomato soup with pesto to the perfectly cooked prime rib, it was a fantastic first meal on board. 🍷

MSC Seascape Caribbean Cruise: Your Top 15 Questions Answered! πŸš’βš“

Our MSC Seascape Questions Answered! (Watch Before You Sail)

Are you planning a vacation on the MSC Seascape? We sure were! Before we set sail on our 7-night Western Caribbean cruise, we had a long list of questions. Now that we’re back, we want to share exactly what we learned during our time on this stunning ship to help you prepare for your own adventure! 🌊✨

The MSC Seascape is one of the most modern and elegant vessels we’ve ever sailed on, but it definitely has some unique features that distinguish it from other cruise lines. From the brand-new terminal in Galveston to mastering the ship’s high-tech systems, there are a few things you’ll want to know before you board. πŸ›³οΈ

he MSC Seascape cruise ship docked at the Coxen Hole cruise terminal in Roatan, Honduras, under a clear blue sky.
The stunning MSC Seascape docked at Coxen Hole, Roatan during our Western Caribbean itinerary. It looks even bigger up close! πŸŒ΄β˜€οΈπŸš’

Mastering the MSC Experience: What We Learned 🧭

One of the biggest surprises for us was the Smart Elevator system. Unlike traditional elevators, you select your floor on a touch screen before you get in. It is far more efficient, but here is a pro tip: make sure to press the button once for every person in your party so the system knows exactly how much space is needed! πŸ“ΆπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

We also spent a lot of time exploring the Marketplace Buffet. It is one of the largest and most varied buffets we’ve seen on a ship, featuring everything from fresh pizza to international dishes. If you are looking for a quiet meal, we recommend heading all the way to the back of the ship for some great outdoor seating views. πŸ•πŸ₯—

Cabin Tips and Show Reservations πŸŽπŸ“±

If you are worried about charging your gear, you will be happy to know the balcony cabins are well equipped with North American plugs, European outlets, and USB ports at the vanity. However, keep in mind that bedside plugs are limited, so bringing a portable battery pack or a long charging cable is a smart move! πŸ”ŒπŸ”‹

When it comes to entertainment, the Chora Theatre shows are fantastic, but you cannot book them until you are actually on the ship. We recommend jumping on the MSC for Me app as soon as you board to grab your tickets, as the popular time slots do fill up fast. If you miss out, do not worry. Just keep checking the app for cancellations or head to the theater standby line! 🎟️✨

Final Thoughts on the Seascape 🌟

Whether you are sailing out of the new terminal in Galveston or exploring ports like Roatan and Costa Maya, the MSC Seascape offers a relaxed and elegant vibe. We absolutely loved the decor, the crystal staircases in the atrium, and the overall experience. We hope this video helps you feel more confident as you plan your own Caribbean getaway! πŸŒ΄β˜€οΈ
