Looking for a hotel near Vancouver International Airport (YVR) before your next flight, cruise, or Vancouver getaway? During our recent stay, we checked into a 1 Bedroom Marina View Suite at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, British Columbia. In this video, we’ll take you on a complete room tour so you can see exactly what to expect before booking your stay.

Inside the suite, you’ll find a spacious living room, king-size bedroom, workstation with built-in power outlets, mini fridge, Lavazza coffee maker, plenty of storage, and beautiful views overlooking the Fraser River. Whether you’re staying for one night or a longer visit, the suite offers plenty of room to relax after a busy day of sightseeing or travel. π¨

The separate bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, a second TV, additional closet space, and more fantastic views. The bathroom includes a deeper tub, shower, vanity, and complimentary toiletries, while the entryway provides extra storage, pillows, and even an umbrella for those rainy Vancouver days.

One of the biggest reasons we enjoy staying at the River Rock Casino Resort is its unbeatable location. The resort is directly connected to the Canada Line SkyTrain, making it easy to travel between Vancouver International Airport (YVR), downtown Vancouver, and the Vancouver cruise terminal without needing a car. Waterfront Station is only about a 20 to 25-minute SkyTrain ride, making this an excellent choice before or after an Alaska cruise. Guests also enjoy complimentary self-parking during their stay.
Beyond the comfortable accommodations, there’s plenty to enjoy without ever leaving the resort. Try your luck in the casino, relax in the indoor pool featuring a waterslide and hot tub, work out in the fitness centre, or enjoy a meal at Gordon Ramsay Steak. You’ll also find a Starbucks and several additional dining options onsite. Nearby attractions include McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport, the Richmond Night Market, Costco, and many other shops and restaurants, making the River Rock an excellent home base for exploring the Vancouver area. βοΈπ
During a previous stay at the River Rock Casino Resort, we also had the opportunity to dine at Gordon Ramsay Steak and explore more of the resort before embarking on an Alaska cruise. If you’d like to see more of the property and our dining experience, check out our previous River Rock posts.
