Our Final Sea Day on the Carnival Jubilee: Shows, Food, and Fun! ๐Ÿšขโœจ

Carnival Jubilee Caribbean Cruise: Last Sea Day & Epic Final Shows - Day 7 Vlog

The final day of a cruise is always bittersweet, but on the Carnival Jubilee, we made sure to go out with a bang! For our seventh and final day at sea, we packed in as much fun, food, and entertainment as possible while sailing back toward Galveston. ๐ŸŒŠ

If youโ€™ve been following our Western Caribbean journey, you know it has been an incredible experience from start to finish! ๐Ÿ๏ธ

Brunch, Burgers, and Towel Animals ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ˜

We started the morning the right way with the Sea Day Brunch in the Pacific Dining Room. Itโ€™s one of our favorite Carnival traditions! After fueling up, we headed back to our stateroom and were greeted by an amazing sight: a full “army” of all the towel animals we had throughout the week! It was a great touch and the perfect way to kick off the afternoon. ๐Ÿต๐Ÿ

Our final day surprise: a whole “army” of all the towel animals we met throughout the week on the Carnival Jubilee! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿต It was such a special touch.

For lunch, we had to make one final stop at Guyโ€™s Burger Joint. You really can’t cruise on the Jubilee without getting those famous burgers and fries one last time! ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŸ

Entertainment and Epic Final Shows ๐ŸŽญ๐ŸŽค

The afternoon was all about relaxation and a bit of behind-the-scenes fun. We attended the Meet the Performers Q&A in the Havana Bar, which was a great way to hear from the talented people who make the shows happen. We also squeezed in a quick workout at the Cloud 9 Fitness Center and some quiet time in the Serenity area. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’ช

As evening fell, we enjoyed our final dinner in the main dining room, featuring the iconic Carnival Melting Chocolate Cake and Baked Alaska. ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿซ

To cap off the entire cruise, we headed to Center Stage for the “We Are One” show. The aerial acts, singing, and celebration of world cultures were absolutely spectacular and easily one of the best entertainment highlights of the trip! ๐ŸŒŽโœจ

Carnival Jubilee Day 6: Ropes Course, Formal Night & White Hot Night Party ๐Ÿšข โœจ

Day 6 was a full sea day on the Carnival Jubilee, and it was absolutely action-packed! From high-altitude thrills to an elegant formal night, we made the most of every minute. ๐ŸŒŠ โœจ

High-Adrenaline Fun: The Ropes Course ๐Ÿง—โ€โ™‚๏ธ โš“

We headed to the Ultimate Playground on Deck 18 to tackle the ropes course. This complimentary activity features the famous “Walk the Plank,” which takes you right out over the edge of the ship! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ It was a bit windy, which added an extra layer of excitement to the experience.

Towel Folding & Morning Fun at Center Stage ๐Ÿ˜ ๐ŸŽฉ

The Towel Folding Fun at Center Stage was hands-down the best weโ€™ve seen. The Cruise Director had hundreds of us wearing towel “Princess Leia” hats while teaching us how to make dogs and elephants. It was a hilarious and memorable way to spend the morning!

Relaxing at Serenity & The Lone Star Tailgate โ˜€๏ธ ๐ŸŸ๏ธ

We spent the afternoon soaking up the sun in the Serenity Adult-Only area. While relaxing in the hot tubs, we could hear the excitement from the Lone Star Tailgate on the Lido deck. This was a high-energy sports relay event for families.

Elegant Formal Night & Celestial Strings ๐ŸŽป โœจ

For our second formal night, the ship was buzzing. After an elegant dinner, we caught Celestial Strings at Center Stage. This show features phenomenal violinists and vocalists in a beautiful, high-energy performance. Pro tip: Arrive early for a good seat!

Love & Marriage and the White Hot Night Party ๐Ÿ•บ ๐Ÿค

We ended the night with the hilarious Love and Marriage Show followed by the White Hot Night Party on the Lido deck. It was incredible to see the deck packed with guests dressed in white, dancing the night away! ๐ŸŽค ๐Ÿ’ƒ

For our first sea day on the Carnival Jubilee, we had a full schedule of activities and entertainment. We started the morning by heading to Center Stage to watch “The Morning Wave” show being filmed live on board.

Sea Day Brunch & Afternoon Activities ๐Ÿณโ›ณ๏ธ

We went for Sea Day Brunch in the Pacific Dining Room to start our morning. Afterward, we spent the afternoon enjoying the ship’s outdoor amenities, including a round of complimentary mini golf and some relaxation soaking in the sun on the lower decks. This was a great way to spend the afternoon at sea.

Formal Night Dinner & Entertainment ๐Ÿ‘”๐ŸŽญ

In the evening, we got dressed up for our first formal night on the Jubilee. Dinner in the main dining room featured favorites like the escargot and the duet of filet mignon and short rib.

We capped off the night with plenty of entertainment, including the “Dear Future Husband” production show and some laughs at the Punchliner Comedy Club. It was a busy first day at sea from start to finish.

The Adventure Breakdown and the Reserve

Be prepared for the journey! The experience starts with a 75-minute bus ride ๐ŸšŒ to the outpost. Before you even start your hike, you’ll grab your tube and headlight ๐Ÿ”ฆ. Then, you’ll begin the 25-minute walk ๐Ÿ‘ฃ to reach the Caves Branch River entrance. This hike takes you deep into the Nohoch Cheสผen Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve, a dense tropical rainforest area. Your knowledgeable guide will share details about the surrounding jungle plants and animals as you follow the trail.

Carrying the tubes and crossing the shallow river is all part of the fun on the jungle hike! This crossing is near the exit point, showing the beautiful, clear water of the Caves Branch River.

Once you get in the water, you’ll float through the spectacular, dark limestone caves. You’ll be guided through mystical formations that have taken centuries to form. Afterward, a delicious Belizean lunch ๐Ÿ— is included at the Jaguar Paw Outpost. This 200-acre adventure park is the hub for many activities, including zip-lining and ATV tours, but the tubing is the main event!

Essential Tips: What to Bring

Since this is a water-based excursion, a little prep goes a long way! Wearing water shoes is required for this excursion, so make sure you bring a pair for the hike and the river! Also, be sure to bring cash for lockers and souvenirs and don’t forget the bug repellent for the jungle walk!

Our cruise concluded with a final, memorable dinner in the Crimson Dining Room. The highlight? Enjoying that amazing braised beef brisket! After dinner, we went for one last show, the hilarious Love and Marriage Show in the Encore Theater, which was a perfect end to our six nights of fun!

Morning Sighting and Port Arrival ๐Ÿฝ๏ธโš“๏ธ

Our day started with breakfast at the Scarlet Restaurant. As we were sailing in, we could see the ginormous MSC World America docked there! We then headed straight off the Carnival Dream. While walking through the port, we saw the spectacular Dance of the Flyers show.

Mahahual Town Exploration ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ

We took a taxi to Mahahual and explored the boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. We made sure to get our photo with the famous Mahahual sign! We also visited the historic Faro de Mahahual (Lighthouse) before taking a beautiful scenic walk back to the Costa Maya ship port and enjoying a quick swim in the pool to cool down! ๐Ÿน

Formal Dinner and Evening Fun ๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸŽญ

The spectacular evening included a wonderful dinner in the Crimson Dining Room ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ. After dinner, we headed to the Encore Theater for the high-energy 80โ€™s Pop to the Max show, which was followed by the fun 80โ€™s Rock N Glow Party ๐ŸŽ‰ on the Lido Deck! It was a perfect blend of port fun and onboard energy.
