Our Day at the Nacional Beach Club ๐ด๐๏ธ
Once we arrived at the beach club, we settled in with our Resort Day Pass. This gave us dedicated loungers on the beach and access to a plunge pool to cool off. โ๏ธ
The all-inclusive setup included fruit platters and unlimited drinks. For lunch, they served a spread of nachos, fajitas, and seasonal lobster. ๐ฎ๐ฆ It was a good way to spend the day at the beach before heading back to the ship for sail away.
Evening on the Jubilee ๐ญ๐ธ
Once we were back on the Carnival Jubilee, we had dinner in the Pacific Restaurant. ๐ฝ๏ธ
The evening entertainment was a highlight of the day. We went to the Jubilee Theater for “Soulbound” by Playlist Productions, which featured great singing and visual effects. We ended the night up on the Lido Deck for the 80s Rock and Glow Party. ๐บโก๏ธ It was a solid end to our fourth day on the ship.

The Adventure Breakdown and the Reserve
Be prepared for the journey! The experience starts with a 75-minute bus ride ๐ to the outpost. Before you even start your hike, you’ll grab your tube and headlight ๐ฆ. Then, you’ll begin the 25-minute walk ๐ฃ to reach the Caves Branch River entrance. This hike takes you deep into the Nohoch Cheสผen Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve, a dense tropical rainforest area. Your knowledgeable guide will share details about the surrounding jungle plants and animals as you follow the trail.
Carrying the tubes and crossing the shallow river is all part of the fun on the jungle hike! This crossing is near the exit point, showing the beautiful, clear water of the Caves Branch River.
Once you get in the water, you’ll float through the spectacular, dark limestone caves. You’ll be guided through mystical formations that have taken centuries to form. Afterward, a delicious Belizean lunch ๐ is included at the Jaguar Paw Outpost. This 200-acre adventure park is the hub for many activities, including zip-lining and ATV tours, but the tubing is the main event!
Essential Tips: What to Bring
Since this is a water-based excursion, a little prep goes a long way! Wearing water shoes is required for this excursion, so make sure you bring a pair for the hike and the river! Also, be sure to bring cash for lockers and souvenirs and don’t forget the bug repellent for the jungle walk!

Our morning started with a delicious Sea Day Brunch. After that, we split our time between relaxation and thrills: we found sunshine and peace on the Serenity Deck and then headed to the water slides for some high-energy fun!

For lunch, we indulged in a final feast, enjoying a custom creation from the Mongolian Wok and a classic from Guy’s Burger Joint. The afternoon kept the fun going with shows like The World Works Here and the popular Q&A session, Q & Awesome.
Formal Farewell and Hilarious Show ๐ฅ๐คฃ
Our cruise concluded with a final, memorable dinner in the Crimson Dining Room. The highlight? Enjoying that amazing braised beef brisket! After dinner, we went for one last show, the hilarious Love and Marriage Show in the Encore Theater, which was a perfect end to our six nights of fun!

Formal Night Feast & America Rocks! ๐ฆ๐ฅฉ
Back on the Carnival Dream, it was time for Formal Night! We enjoyed a special dinner in the Crimson Dining Room, feasting on complimentary Lobster and Prime Rib, finished with our favorite Crรจme Brulee. The spectacular evening continued with the high-energy America Rocks show in the Encore Theater, which was followed by checking out the White Hot Night Party on the Lido Deck! It was a perfect blend of relaxation and high-energy fun.

Exploring the Maya Underworld ๐๏ธ
Our Day 4 adventure, booked directly through Carnival, took us deep into the Belizean rainforest. We took a scenic bus ride out to the Jaguar Paw Adventure Outpost, where we geared up with our helmets and headlamps. The main event? Floating down the Caves Branch River through a spectacular system of caves. Our guide narrated the journey, pointing out ancient formations and sharing the history of the Maya underworld.

After emerging from the darkness of the caves, we enjoyed a delicious Belizean lunch at The Outpost in the lush jungle setting before heading back to the ship.

The evening was just as exciting! After tendering back to the Carnival Dream, we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Crimson Dining Room. We then finished the night with a thrilling round of Deal or No Deal in the Encore Theater.

Our Carnival Dream Caribbean Cruise is underway, and we’re thrilled to share all the highlights from our Costa Maya Port Adventure! Day 3 was packed with massive ship sightings, exploration, great food, and fantastic evening entertainment.
Morning Sighting and Port Arrival ๐ฝ๏ธโ๏ธ
Our day started with breakfast at the Scarlet Restaurant. As we were sailing in, we could see the ginormous MSC World America docked there! We then headed straight off the Carnival Dream. While walking through the port, we saw the spectacular Dance of the Flyers show.

Mahahual Town Exploration ๐ด๐ถโโ๏ธ
We took a taxi to Mahahual and explored the boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. We made sure to get our photo with the famous Mahahual sign! We also visited the historic Faro de Mahahual (Lighthouse) before taking a beautiful scenic walk back to the Costa Maya ship port and enjoying a quick swim in the pool to cool down! ๐น

The spectacular evening included a wonderful dinner in the Crimson Dining Room ๐ฝ๏ธ. It was a perfect blend of port fun and onboard energy.
